Shrimp was born at Horse Creek on October 1, 2021, after his mother, Birdie, was rescued from the animal shelter. While most of his siblings have found their forever homes, Shrimp is still waiting for the right family to notice him and give him the chance he deserves.

He has always been a shy, cautious dog who can be standoffish when meeting new people. Shrimp needs time to feel safe, and he prefers to warm up at his own pace. He was born deaf, but that has never stopped him from enjoying life — he loves exploring, playing, and spending time with the dogs he trusts.

Shrimp will need a patient, understanding family who can give him space to decompress and slowly build confidence in a new home. Once he feels secure, his gentle, loyal nature begins to shine through.
