About Us
Horse Creek Wildlife Sanctuary and Animal Refuge in Hardin County, Tennessee is about 10 miles South of Savannah, Tennessee. It is convenient to Pickwick State Park on the Tennessee River and to Shiloh National Military Park, a Civil War Battlefield.
The sanctuary was established in 1998 by Ron and Linda Pickard with the purchase of 400 acres and has now grown to 2000 acres. It was named after the beautiful Horse Creek which meanders through the property and provides life support for fauna and flora. An office, dog villas, barns, maintenance facilities, day lodge and other buildings are in place to support activities.
