Ebenezer Cross at Horse Creek

How did the Ebenezer Cross at Horse Creek Wildlife come about and why? Linda and I have a nephew living in Oxford and on our frequent visits we would pass by a large 120 feet cross located on Highway 45 in Booneville, Mississippi. More times than not, we would stop and visit this cross, if only for a few minutes. After each visit Linda was quiet. Being married to someone for 58 years you don’t need words to understand this was a special quiet. One day, after visiting the cross, I said “I think we should build one on Horse Creek.”Without questioning she said “OK” with tears streaming down her cheeks. Linda would later say “If you ever need proof that prayer works, look no further.” The why is simple; for the glory of God and for all who seek Him. It is a gift from God to you.
